Premier League players have called for VAR to be axed after a string of questionable decisions made in a controversial Saturday afternoon in the division.The Video Assistant Referee was introduced in 2018 in an attempt help officials make important decisions in games.
But its had the opposite effect since coming in to play following a number of wrong calls that have sometimes cost teams a game.And yesterday was no different as the system made a number of calls that angered players and managers alike.

Chalobah initially received a yellow card for his reckless challenge on Magpies ace Sean Longstaff, but that was changed to red by referee Darren England upon VAR Mike Dean's recommendation.Newcastle went onto secure victory, and Fulham boss Marco Silva expressed his dismay at Chalobah's red card after the match.
