Plans have been submitted to Oldham council to knock down units at Hadfield Works on Hadfield Street. The buildings on the land are made up of a single storey industrial shed, with a servicing area, with various extensions.

A developer wants to build 22 three-bedroom houses on the site, which is in the Medlock Vale ward of the borough. A design and access statement by Create It Studio Architects on behalf of the applicant states that each house would have a driveway with space to park up to two cars.
