Nabila Sadiq, 38, died just a week after testing positive and 10 days after her mother Nuzhat, 76, died of complications relating to the disease, the Mirror reports.

Her father was also in hospital with coronavirus, but was eventually discharged and is under home quarantine. In her last days, the Gender Studies scholar posted on Twitter a desperate plea for an ICU bed, She urged people to pray for her and her parents and warned "no one will stay alive in Delhi".
