IKEA announces new rules about who can shop as stores reopen in the UK

Last week, Swedish homeware giant IKEA confirmed plans to reopen stores in England and Ireland on June 1. A grand total of 19 stores will be reopening, though shoppers will see some huge changes come into place, with new rules implemented to keep staff and customers safe.

The home furnishing retailer has said that it will be limiting the number of shoppers in stores, and has asked families not to come together where possible.

IKEA asks that shoppers only bring one other person from the same household, if you need special assistance or if you need to bring your children with you.
