Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

As the hunt for missing teen Jay Slater continues in Tenerife, TV shows from Good Morning Britain to Loose Women have all examined his shocking disappearance.

On Wednesday, 26 June, it was This Morning's turn to focus on the 12 day old investigation, after 19 year old apprentice bricklayer Jay vanished without trace.The show cast light onto 'armchair sleuth' theories about Jay, focusing on speculation which could hinder ongoing police investigations and cause further distress to Jay's already-concerned family.

TV personalities have also weighed in on the situation, with GMB's Susanna Reid labelling it the "worst nightmare" any parent could face, and an "utter mystery".

Coronation Street star, Vicky Entwistle, disclosed a personal connection: Jay is her friend's godmother's grandson. Presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard turned to experts as they untangled the potentially damaging speculation regarding Jay's whereabouts.
