drugs as a teenager believes that becoming a young mum saved her life.When she was younger Ellie Burscough embraced the party lifestyle, spending time hanging out with the wrong people and getting caught with drugs.Now 35, the Gold Coast local has managed to turn her life around as she is a successful entrepreneur, business coach and mum of three, crediting her unplanned pregnancy with changing the course of her life for the better.At 19 she narrowly avoided going to prison after being caught in the possession of pills but even her brush with the law wasn’t enough to prompt Ellie to transform her life.“When I was 18 I got into harder drugs.

I would go out clubbing multiple times a week and thought I was having the time of my life,” she told Daily Star.“My friends started asking me if I knew who had pills.

So being the entrepreneur that I always have been, I found a way to make a profit from helping my friends out, and it escalated from there.”Ellie was at her favourite club one night when she was walking around after dropping some pills to a friend.She noticed there was a lot of police around that night and while she knew she should be careful, as she still had plenty of pills on her, she didn’t listen to her inner voice.While the line to get back inside the club was taking ages, Ellie didn’t register the fact that anything was going on.“Police came from both directions surrounding us with nowhere to run.

The policeman walked with a dog down the line,” she explained.“When the dog got to me it jumped up onto my shoulders and scared the life out of me.
