dailystar.co.ukA killer shot his wife, mother-in-law and four other family members before killing himself in what police are calling a 'murder-suicide.' Larry Ray allegedly shot the six adults, sparing a teenage boy, 16,who hid in a closet and called emergency services reporting a gunman in the house.
The frightened boy called 911 and told the operator he heard six shots and his parents were also in the house reported WRAL News.
Police report that the victims, all from the same family include the teenager's parents John Paul Sanderford, 41, and Nicole Sanderford, 39 who were shot in their own home.
Their youngest son, 13, was not in the house at the time of the incident which occurred in the rural Moncure area of southeastern Chatham County.
