Liverpool are facing the prospect of taking on Leicester with nine first team stars missing after the international break. Reds manager Jurgen Klopp’s injury crisis has worsened over the last few days, narrowing down his pool of available players even more.
Of course, preferred centre-back pairing Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk were already expected to miss most of the season with their respective knee injury.
Their case at the back was already worsened by Trent Alexander-Arnold limping off during the draw with Manchester City, and he will miss the Leicester game.
If that wasn’t enough, left-back Andy Robertson has withdrawn from international duty with a hamstring injury, and may miss the Foxes clash.
