Police are pinning their hopes on a DNA breakthrough in the unsolved case of a suspected rapist who carried the woman he is suspected of raping through a city centre.
West Midlands Police previously released harrowing footage showing a 25-year-old woman being carried away by a tall, slim, shaven-headed suspect in Birmingham city centre.
A man had grabbed the woman, who cannot be named, after she left a bar on a night out and raped her nearby. She was later found in a distressed state by a passer-by, Birmingham Live reports.
