cops have told how they saved three people from a devastating house fire - minutes after watching four of their colleagues being injured in a street rammy.
Constables Jordan Loughrey and Claire Coleman, both based at Paisley Police Station, have now been praised for their bravery by a senior Police Scotland officer.They had just finished responding to an incident in Belmont Road, Paisley, on Saturday, July 25, during which four of their colleagues were injured.A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with this and none of the officers sustained serious injuries.As PCs Loughrey and Coleman were leaving the area they noticed smoke coming from a stairwell in Netherhill Road at around 7.45pm.They went to investigate further and heard cries.
