SNP MP Margaret Ferrier paid tribute to NHS staff in a Parliament speech after travelling hundreds of miles with Covid-19 symptoms.
The politician demanded support for her constituents as she discussed their coronavirus fears in the House of Commons on Monday.
Ferrier, who is an SNP MP from Rutherglen and Hamilton West, had taken a test after experiencing mild symptoms on Saturday but still used public transport to attend Westminster in London via train.
