policemen have been praised after rushing to save a man who fell onto a track as a train entered the station.Officers Christopher Cerny and Gary Lamour, of New York Police Department, saw a passenger in the midst of a medical episode at the 14th Street and Eighth Avenue station on Sunday, May 16.The unidentified man lost his footing and fell onto the tracks.In the bodyworn camera footage shared by the police on Twitter, a train can be seen entering the station through the tunnel and one of the officers run to signal the train driver with a flashlight.The other policeman jumps onto the track and tries to wake up the man.He is able to lift the man onto the platform and stay with him until paramedics arrive, who later sent the man to Bellevue.
