Harry Styles is setting the record straight on any rumors that say he was unhappy during his time with One Direction.

Instead, the 26-year-old musician is singing the group’s praises in his new Vogue cover story. “I think the typical thing is to come out of a band like that and almost feel like you have to apologize for being in it.

But I loved my time in it,” Harry shared. “It was all new to me, and I was trying to learn as much as I could.” He added, “I wanted to soak it in…I think that’s probably why I like traveling now — soaking stuff up.” Harry was part of the group from its inception alongside Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik. Zayn left the group just a year before they went on hiatus in 2016.
