Kate Middleton's "competitive nature" has been exposed by rugby player and fellow Royal family member Mike Tindall, who is married to Princess Anne's daughter Zara Tindall.The Duchess of Cambridge has recently been stepping up to take on more solo engagements and more senior duties as an official member of the higher level institution.The 40 year old mum-of-three was also announced as Prince Harry's replacement as Patron of England rugby.

But while Mike, 43, said the Duchess looked "effortless" during her training session, he claimed she also has a relentless drive to succeed and be "good at things".

She donned the official kit, put her brunette locks up in a ponytail, and she meant business – even getting lifted up in the air for a demonstration.
