Harry Kane has been told to quit Tottenham before it is too late. Former Spurs ace Teddy Sheringham fears Kane won't win the trophies his talents deserve if he chooses to spend the prime of his career in north London.
The England captain, who will be 27 in July, hinted last month that he would consider leaving Spurs if he thought the club couldn't fulfil his ambitions.
Manchester United and City are keen on signing Kane, while a host of leading European clubs are keeping close tabs on his situation.
Sheringham has warned Kane he only gets one career and that he has to make the most of it. Sheringham left Spurs to join United in 1997 and went on to win seven major trophies, including the famous treble in 1999 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
