Motorists dressed up for Halloween could face fines of up to £5,000 if their costume restricts their ability in the driver's seat this spooky season.

Scots across the country will be searching out their witches hats, vampire capes and zombie masks for the October 31 festivities, especially as it's the first Halloween since Covid restrictions were fully lifted earlier this year.

However, according to Chronicle Live, whilst getting kitted out in ghoulish garments is part of the fun, it could lead to a much more terrifying prospect - points on your licence and a hefty fine.
