A hairdresser has shared her tips for those bold enough to cut their own hair during the coronavirus lockdown – making a video of cutting a straight fringe and avoiding the dreaded "YouTube fail".
Emma Moore, who has her own salon in Chorley, Lancashire, shared the clip on her Facebook page Hair On Demand where it has already been watched more than 5,000 times.
Explaining how to cut a salon-perfect fringe, she says: “I’m going to put my hair in a parting and use a comb to try and find yourself a parting. “It works best on freshly-washed hair, obviously.” Emma explains that you want to do it in a diagonal shape “so you haven’t got a massive fringe”. “We’re not going to do one of those stupid videos where you get the fringe and pull it down
