Police are hunting a gunman who fired at a parked vehicle on a residential street in Oldham. Officers were scrambled to Laburnum Road, in the Limeside area of the town, following reports of a “firearms discharge” just after 9pm last Thursday night (May 7).
On arrival they discovered that a parked vehicle had been damaged. Nobody was injured and no arrests have been made, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say.
Forensics officers were seen gathering evidence at the scene on Thursday. One neighbour reported hearing ‘five or six gunshots’ during the attack, which police say is an isolated incident.
