home after a stray firework destroyed it.Pauline Perry, 75, was at her home on Friday when the sound of her patio doors “popping” made her notice the large blaze in her back garden.The pensioner hadn't realised that a firework had landed in her back garden and caught fire to her rattan furniture, Liverpool ECHO reports.Pauline rushed out and attempted to move the furniture in an attempt to stop the fire from spreading, but this only welcomed the blaze into her lounge where it quickly took over.Horrified neighbours spotted the flames flooding from the house in Norris Green, Liverpool, and thankfully ran to the woman's rescue.Fire crews reportedly rushed to the scene but by the time they arrived Pauline says she had already "lost.
