It was chocolate week on the Great British Bake Off in the latest episode, but Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith were far from impressed with the contestants.

The hopefuls were left questioning themselves, after getting on with the first task of the episode. They were asked to bake brownies, but not one contestant seemed to get it entirely right.

Each contestant had attempted their own mark on the bake, including figs, marshmallow and fruit. But when it came down to it, Prue and Paul were left struggling to find one bake that they were satisfied with.

Poor Lottie's bakes became a soggy mess as the filling overwhelmed the cake. Viewers at home confessed they'd still eat the goods, but Prue and Paul instead took to ripping apart the different
