A pensioner was filmed giving the perfect answer when quizzed over why he was taking the coronavirus vaccine. Martin Kenyon, 91, was one of the first to receive the Covid-19 vaccine yesterday morning and was caught on camera as he left Guy's Hospital in London.
Speaking to CNN reporter Cyril Vanier, Mr Kenyon explained that he had travelled into London to receive the vaccine - but was late for his appointment as he couldn't park the car.
When asked why he had decided to take it, he said: "I don’t intend to have it there’s no point in dying when I’ve lived this long, is there?
I don’t intend to anyway." Mr Kenyon added that his family were unaware of his decision and that he was going to head home and tell them.
