Poliça have announced details of new album ‘Madness’ and shared the pulsating first single from the record – listen to ‘Alive’ below.‘Madness’ is out June 3 and has been described as “something of a companion piece” to 2020’s ‘When We Stay Alive’.The album was mostly recorded between 2020 and 2021 in Ryan Olson’s Minneapolis studio and was partially created by anthropomorphic production tool “AllOvers(c)”, which was designed by Olson and fellow producer and sound-artist Seth Rosetter.According to vocalist Channy Leaneagh, the lyrics across ‘Madness’ represent the idea that “I am here for you all and I am never truly myself here. Blizzard itself, the name and theme of the next World Of Warcraft expansion may have been revealed.Thanks to a public source code update on the official World Of Warcraft website, it appears as though the massively multiplayer online (MMO) game’s next expansion will be called “Dragonflight” (via Wowhead).This is supported by the mention of Base, Heroic and Epic purchase options for Dragonflight in the website’s public source code, as World Of Warcraft’s last expansion, Shadowlands, also has these three purchase options.The public source code also points to the website dragonflight.blizzard.com – which is currently inactive – and as Wowhead notes, this website appears to have been certified last week.Official news of the game’s next expansion will be coming soon, as Blizzard confirmed last month that it will be revealed on April 19, saying: “We’re excited to show you what we’ve been working on and where your adventures in Azeroth will go next.”This supposed Dragonflight expansion may be released in 2022, as since 2008’s Wrath Of the Lich King expansion for World Of Warcraft each expansion has been released two years apart. Wyatte Grantham-Philips editorProducer Heather Kadin has joined Range Media Partners as president of scripted television.Kadin, most recently teamed with Alex Kurtzman in overseeing the “Star Trek” TV universe for Paramount, will oversee all of Range’s scripted development and production. She’ll serve as an executive producer on Range projects, help create new series and build brands through scripted content.“I am beyond thrilled,” Kadin said. “After many years of producing mostly genre television, I had a strong desire to be more entrepreneurial and work with a wider array of talent.

A+E Networks has taken a minority stake in management and production firm Range Media Partners. No financial details are being disclosed but the stake is believed to be in the high teens percent and the deal in the $50 million ballpark, with Range’s valuation at around $300 million. That is a hefty valuation, especially for a company that is just a year and a half old. It is close to what one of Hollywood biggest, most established management-production companies, 3 Arts, sold for in 2018 after 27 years in the business.
