Good Morning Britain reporter responds to outrage after cameras filmed migrant boat

Good Morning Britain 's news reporter Jonathan Swain has responded to anger from viewers after a news segment on Tuesday filmed migrants desperately trying to cross the Channel to England in a dinghy.

The precarious journey can often result in death as boats can sink in the dangerous waters, and some viewers found it disrespectful to film the people and also criticised the fact the migrants were entering the country illegally.

GMB was criticised for not doing anything to help the people on board the boat, but Jonathan defended himself on Twitter, saying he was not allowed to step in and risk his own life.
