Good Morning Britain’s viewership has dwindled since the unexpected exit of host, Piers Morgan.The presenter, 55, decided to stand down as co-host on the ITV breakfast show after he received harsh backlash over the controversial comments he made about Meghan Markle following her bombshell Oprah interview.Since his shocking exit, it appears as though loyal Good Morning Britain fans have become less interested in tuning into the weekday show as it’s experienced a 40% drop in viewing figures.The programme racked in around 800,000 viewers on Wednesday – marking it as one of the lowest figures in previous weeks.Wednesday’s viewing ratings were also 700,000 below the 1.49million who watched BBC Breakfast.It’s a colossal drop in audience.
