Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain has lost 300,000 viewers since Piers Morgan quit the show. The controversial host, 55, made the decision to leave the daytime series on Tuesday after he was slammed by viewers and mental health charity Mind for making comments about Meghan Markle's 'suicidal' thoughts.
On Monday, the show managed to beat BBC Breakfast ratings for the first time in history, with 1.89million people tuning in to watch him and Susanna Reid present the day's news.
But since he quit, the show's ratings have dropped significantly - to 1.7million, and then 1.4million. Piers came under fire after Meghan herself complained to the CEO of ITV after the TV host claimed he 'didn't believe' her mental health struggles.
