Piers Morgan’s criticism of Meghan Markle on Good Morning Britain has now broken records and become the most complained about TV moment in Ofcom’s history.

Morgan questioned the truth about controversial statements made by Meghan Markle after her heavily produced interview with Oprah which many claimed was lacking in tough questions from the host.

Now, Ofcom has confirmed that Morgan’s comments amassed over 57,000 complaints, the highest in its history. Piers doesn’t seem to mind much, taking to Twitter after the news broke to make light of the historic numbers. ‘Only 57,000?

I’ve had more people than that come up and congratulate me in the street for what I said,’ Piers wrote on Twitter this evening. ‘The vast majority of Britons are right
