Piers Morgan has responded to breaking the Ofcom complaints record with his comments about the Duchess of Sussex. The former Good Morning Britain host, 55, resigned from the ITV breakfast show last week after his controversial appearances on the March 8 and March 9 episodes.
The episodes proved to be the last for Piers, who had displayed outspoken views against Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, some of which saw him cast doubt on the veracity of her claims in her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey that she had been suicidal during his appearance on Monday, March 8.
The following day in his final show, Piers stormed off set after a disagreement with weather presenter Alex Beresford regarding his comments about the Duchess.
