GMB's Ranvir Singh startles co-host as she compares Strictly to childbirth pain

While appearing on the breakfast show alongside co-host Robert Rinder, Ranvir was asked whether she missed the glitz and glam from the popular BBC show.Although the 45 year old admitted that she often thinks about her Dream Girls performance and the outfit she wore when she appeared on the programme, she also said the show reminded her of giving birth as the pain gets easier to think about the more that time passes.Hearing her unusual comparison, Rob was clearly taken aback.Starting off the conversation, Ranvir said: "We're talking about Strictly later aren't we on the show, we're talking about dancing." Robert asked: "Do you miss the glitter or just the glitter ball?"Reflecting on her time, Ranvir replied: "You know occasionally, I think about my Dream Girls outfit, you know the wig.Judge Robert, who also appeared in Strictly in 2016, looked confused and proceeded to ask studio meterologist Laura Tobin about Ranvir's comparison.

Giggling, Laura also appeared rather surprised by Ranvir's stance.Although the TV host wasn't so happy to describe her experience on the dancing show, she did do very well herself in the compeition.Ranvir took part in the 2020 series of the BBC programme and was partnered with popular professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.The couple reached the semi-finals, taking the fifth place spot.This is a live TV story and is being constantly updated.
