The 40-year-old meteorologist shared very differing views to the Life Stories presenter when it came to the tell-all Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey interview.Both Alex and Piers were keen to be heard as they aired their opposing opinions that eventually saw the main news reader fume as he stormed off set.As a result of the GMB feud, Alex has now suffered "racial abuse" online which left him with no choice but to leave Twitter and Facebook.In a segment that he had written for The Telegraph, he said: "I haven't announced it (like the former Arsenal player Thierry Henry did this week when he publicly quit social media, in response to anonymous racist bullying).
