Celebrities have paid tribute to the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. It was announced on Friday (April 9) that the husband of The Queen had died peacefully at Windsor Castle that morning.
The Royal Family announced in a statement today: "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. "His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. "Further announcements will made in due course. "The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss." Now celebrities have taken to social media to pay tribute to the Queen's consort and recognise his long years of service to the nation.
