GMB’s Alex Beresford quits social media amid racist attacks

evoke.ieAlex Beresford made headlines over recent weeks as he publicly debated with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Oprah interview.
The pair had an on-air tiff which resulted in Piers Morgan storming off the GMB set, as he said he felt that he was being attacked by Alex.
Piers decided to leave GMB after the incident, as he stated that he ‘didn’t believe a word’ Meghan said during the Oprah interview, and since their altercation, Alex has received a lot of abuse on Twitter.
Alex has said that people have come after him with racist remarks since he defended Meghan Markle, and it has forced him to step away from social media.
