Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
The Mirror's Good Morning Britain fans are calling for Alex Beresford to replace Piers Morgan after his sudden exit. The usual GMB host had been part of the morning talk show since 2015 but quit following a row concerning Meghan Markle ’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Last week, Piers slammed Meghan’s comments, having previously commented that he ‘didn’t believe’ that she considered taking her own life.
The show’s weatherman shut Piers’ comments down and called him ‘diabolical’, with Piers storming off the ITV set in response.
And a survey compiled by Mirror shows that GMB viewers would love to see Alex, 40, become the permanent host to replace Piers - alongside Susanna Reid.
