Gogglebox star, 31, has sat next to her boyfriend's hospital bed after he was hit by a car during his walk home in Leeds on March 18.Following the tragic accident, that saw Nat remain in an intensive care unit, after being rushed to a nearby hospital and initially placed on a life support machine.West Yorkshire Police confirmed that Nat was in a "critical but stable" condition, with Ellie remaining close to her boyfriend's hospital bedside.Having a rare night out, Ellie headed to the Wetherspoons boozer, The Three Hulats in Leeds with several friends.The star stepped out wearing a brown t-shirt paired with a pair of blue denim ripped jeans and a khaki jacket to keep her warm in the summer evening breeze.Ellie's pink tresses were styled into loose natural waves as they rested on her shoulder as she opted to ditch make up and go au naturale for her rare night out.It's the first time Ellie has stepped out in public following Nat's accident and revealed that she was taking an extended break from filming the Channel 4 programme.Ellie and her sister Izzi have appeared on the programme for the past six years but have been absent from the screen in recent weeks.Despite being absent from filming, bosses are believed to be paying Ellie in full as they support her and have agreed to allow her to take an extended break from the show.Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Ellie has barely left Nat's side since the accident, she has been holding his hand and willing him to get better."Her heart is totally ripped in two by all of this and she is still in a state of shock about how things have ended up."Right now all that Ellie is focusing on is making sure she is there for Nat, nothing else matters."Nat suffered a broken neck and back.
