Lucas Torreira is a "great player" who has an Arsenal future despite being loaned out according to Gilberto Silva. The Uruguayan moved to the Emirates in 2018 but after two years and two managers has been sent away for the year.
Atletico Madrid are enjoying Torreira's services and the midfield could yet return with a La Liga winners medal. The 24-year-old was signed by Unai Emery and didn't enjoy the same opportunities once Mike Arteta replaced him.
Torreira's performances were inconsistent last term which no doubt contributed to his temporary move away. But Gilberto, an integral part of Arsenal's Invincibles, is confident the combative midfielder will return and come good.
