Gerwyn Price has given fans a nasty glimpse of the injury which forced him to pull out of an appearance at the Premier League of Darts last week.
The Welshman was due to play on night five of the revamped competition in Brighton last Thursday. However, despite travelling to the south coast in the hope he would be able to compete, he told the PDC that he would be pulling out of the tournament after injuring his right hand.
Now, Price has taken to social media to show fans the progress he is making on his recovery. He posted a short video on his Instagram story, which showed him squeezing a ball to help get the blood pumping in his hand. The swelling is clear to see towards the bottom of his palm close to his wrist, which would have been a huge problem for him while trying to throw a dart.Alongside the video was the caption: "Still swollen but things getting a little better."That optimistic update will leave fans hoping that Price will be back in action for Night 6 of the competition, set to take place in Nottingham this coming Thursday. No update has yet been given regarding whether or not the Welshman will be competing. Is Gerwyn Price's showmanship good or bad for professional darts?
