Gerwyn Price has delayed his boxing debut but will continue to play darts with his fractured hand.Price was set to step into the ring with fellow Welshman and close friend Rhys Evans in a charity bout on April 9.

But as per Wales Online, that has now been pushed back to May 13 after it was discovered his right hand, which has been injured for a number of weeks, is in fact broken.The world No2's busy darts schedule will continue, though, and he takes on Joe Cullen in the quarter-finals of Night 8 of the Premier League tonight (Thursday March 31)."I was still in discomfort with my hand so I went back to the hospital and the X-ray showed a small fracture," said Price. "The usual course of action would be to be put in plaster for four weeks, but with the Premier League and other events that's not something I wanted."I'll be wearing the splint now other than when I'm playing darts, and making sure that I rest the hand enough when I'm not to allow it to heal properly.
