Court papers filed by J Alexander Kueng's attorney - and seen by the Daily Mail - state he intends to use the defences of self defence, justifiable force and authorised use of force.
It comes hours after a Minneapolis judge warned on Monday that he may move the proceedings against the ex-cops to a different venue and issue a gag order in a case that has drawn worldwide attention, local media reported.
