Manchester United were left unsurprised by Cristiano Ronaldo 's 2009 exit, according to Red Devils hero Gary Neville. The Portuguese ace enjoyed six successful at Old Trafford before leaving for sunnier climes in the Spanish capital.
Ronaldo's departure was disappointing for everyone concerned with United. But Neville admits it was no surprise, due to the attacker having a problem with the miserable English weather. "I think because he did the interview after the 2008 final where he sort of alluded to the fact that he was going, it was almost like you had an advanced warning," Neville said on Sky Sports. "So you were almost ready-prepared for it, you knew he was leaving the year after.
