If Daniel James gets the better of England at next year's European Championships he might get the Cristiano Ronaldo treatment from the Stretford End.
James has played on the left and played on the right for United, and more often than he would have expected. The 22-year-old has started in 25 of their 29 Premier League meetings and it was not until Boxing Day that he was removed from an XI he forced his way into all the way back in August.
Only David de Gea, Victor Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Harry Maguire have lined up more often than a winger whose season-long loan with League One Shrewsbury Town was terminated after two months in 2017.
