Dundee residents who want garden waste uplifted from their house will now have to pay £40 a year for the privilege after a price hike was approved by elected members.
The garden waste tariff, first introduced in 2020, will increase from £35 to £40 from March. Dundee City Council says the increase is necessary to reflect the additional costs involved in collecting garden waste once a fortnight, 20 times a year, which it is no longer required to do by law.
