Garden bin permits now £40 a year after Dundee councillors approve price hike

The garden waste tariff, first introduced in 2020, will increase from £35 to £40 from March. Dundee City Council says the increase is necessary to reflect the additional costs involved in collecting garden waste once a fortnight, 20 times a year, which it is no longer required to do by law.
