Frank Warren explains why Tyson Fury won’t fight Dillian Whyte after Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury will not be locking horns with Dillian Whyte anytime soon, according to the Gypsy King's promoter Frank Warren. WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman recently confirmed that Whyte, who is set to face Alexander Povetkin at Matchroom's Fight Camp on August 22, will be next in line for a shot at their champion if he comes out on top against the Russian.It is currently unclear who that champion will be, nonetheless, as Fury is first contracted to defend his title in a trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder.

And should Fury topple Wilder once more, his immediate attention will turn to an undisputed showdown with unified chief Anthony Joshua - having already reached an initial agreement for two fights with his domestic rival in 2021.
