ChronicleLive reports.Sadly, the fate of the fox is unknown as she is "otherwise a healthy fox" but the "trauma" animal's injury may be too much.The charity added: "We are horrified that this fox has been shot and injured in such a way, and we absolutely condemn the actions of anyone who is prepared to harm such wonderful animals."Workers at the centre have now been in contact with other groups across the country seeking advice on the animal's suitability for release. "At the moment this seems unlikely but we are doing everything we can and continue to seek advice from the relevant bodies," a spokesperson said.
