One scene in Netflix's newest true-crime documentary Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel has got everyone talking.
The four-part documentary from the creator of 'The Ted Bundy Tapes,' tells the story of 21-year-old Elisa Lam, a Canadian student, who mysteriously disappeared from Los Angeles' notorious Cecil Hotel in 2013.
Her death was declared an accidental drowning with little reason to believe foul play was involved. However, one detail in the show remains unsolved.
A blurry time code discrepancy in footage capturing Lam's last moments in a lift in the hotel led investigators to wonder whether someone tampered with the footage.
