Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina was forced off on a stretcher on Thursday after a horror collision left him with blood pouring from his head.
The 31-year-old stopper was playing for Napoli against Atalanta in Serie A when he was involved in a nasty incident after half hour.
Ospina reacted quickly to cleared a cross into the box by punching it away when Atalanta's Mattia Caldara clattered into him.
Napoli's Mario Rui had been tracking his runner, who was travelling at some speed in a desperate attempt to get on the end of the cross.
