Alan Deary was shocked to learn his diagnosis of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) meant he had a life expectancy of only two to five years.

But determined to give something back to the NHS and medical teams who have supported him, he decided to complete a two-day bike ride to raise funds for Wythenshawe Hospital Charity.
