RTÉ presenter Brendan Courtney has described how filming a moving documentary with his dying father has changed his life forever.
And the former Off the Rails host revealed his days of fronting fashion shows are over as his TV career evolves from couture to culture with the imminent release of the third series of Keys To My Life, which airs tonight.
Courtney told the Irish Mail on Sunday: ‘I love doing television. I started in television 25 years ago and I feel very much a television person.
But would I do fashion on television again? No, absolutely not. I’ve literally worn the T-shirt. But I’m 50 this year so I’ve evolved.’ Courtney’s father Frank died just months after taking part in an RTÉ documentary with his son called We Need To Talk
