European destinations could be next to go on Scotland’s quarantine list - and they could be added as early as today. Health officials are growing concerned over a spike in cases in Croatia, Greece, Austria, Denmark and Switzerland.
Thousands of Scots on holiday in these countries face the risk of having to isolate for 14 days upon their return to the UK if the changes to the list go ahead.
The UK Government's transport secretary Grant Shapps chaired a meeting to discuss a spike in cases across Europe yesterday. Mr Shapps is anticipated to make an announcement off the back of that meeting later today, according to Birmingham Live.
