holidaymakers are set to be removed from the travel corridor list. Travellers coming back into England from the the islands of Lesvos, Tinos, Serifos, Mykonos, Crete, Santorini and Zakynthos will be required to self-isolate for two weeks from 4am on Wednesday.The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is now advising against all but essential travel to the islands.
However the government is not advising Brits already there to leave at this time, but anyone who arrives back in England after September 8 may be subject to coronavirus quarantine restrictions.
While the islands will be removed, mainland Greece will remain on the safe list.It comes as Westminster announced changes to the travel corridor policy.
