Hart joins the club following a seven-year stint with Premier League outfit Burnley, having left his CEO role at Turf Moor in the wake of the takeover by American group ALK Capital.
He had previously been CEO of Burnley FC in the Community and spent six years in the post, overseeing a major rise in staffing levels and community programmes while the Clarets were named Community Club of the Year at the Northwest Football Awards four times on the spin.
