Luis Diaz has been pictured in a Liverpool shirt for the first time after completing his medical. Diaz, 25, is close to sealing a move to Anfield after the Reds beat Tottenham to his signature.On Thursday, it looked as though the Colombian star would be on his way to north London.Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy had agreed a fee with Porto before Liverpool caught wind of the deal, as per The Telegraph.
The Reds made their move and reached an agreement with the Portuguese giants to leave Levy and Spurs high and dry. And with confirmation of his arrival now imminent, Liverpool fans have caught their first glimpse of Diaz wearing club attire.
South American journalist Pipa Sierra tweeted an image of the winger wearing a Reds training kit and holding the club's new shirt.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano also posted a snap of Diaz appearing to sign his Liverpool contract.He tweeted: "Here’s new Liverpool signing Luís Diaz after completing first part of medical in Argentina, ready to pen his contract until June 2027."#LFC Agreement reached between clubs for €40m guaranteed fee upfront plus €20m add ons.
